The Treasurer begs leave to report, that since the annu-
al meeting of the Mass Horticultural Society in
September 1834, when his last report was made, that
every debt due from the Garden &Cemetery Committee
has been paid & there remains in the Treasurery, per
certificate of the Auditor, B. A. Gould Esq, the sum of
$1210.70.

He further reports that the payments
for the Mount Auburn estate & improvements thereon,
up to the 30 June last, when the accounts of the Garden
& Cemetery ^Committee were closed, amount to the sum of $27806.25
that the total number of lots sold to the same date
is 390 producing the sum of $26776.44 leaving
a balance due from the Mass Horticultural Socy
to the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn
of $1029.81.

To this must be added sundry
some bills against the Garden & Cemetery Com. not
yet rendered (particularly one for an Iron wagon
designed to transport stone within the grounds),
which may amount together to $300 and of which
a considerable portion is expected to be paid in lots.

Since the 30 June 36 lots have been sold pro-
ducing $2951.20. - If therefore a settlement be
made with the Horticultural Society at this time,
