Superintendent which from the difficulty in ascertaining
the precise sums, or other causes, could not be
brought into the current accounts.
The funds in the Treasury amtg to $3867.32 as
appears by the Auditors certificate herewith submitted,
and the debts to be collected, amtg to $1536 may be
chiefly appropriated to the reduction of the Committee's
debt in the opinion of the Treasurer, there being no
reasonable doubt but the Sales for the coming year will
be equal to the ordinary expenses. An outlay on the
Garden may be deemed expedient this autumn in
order to render it productive as soon as may be.
It may be proper to add that the whole
number of lots sold is 351 producing the sum of
$23225.72 and the Sales in the respective years
were as follows, to wit;
First year ending | 175 lots | 11580.42 |
Second year ending | 76 lots | 5241.30 |
Third year ending | 100 lots | 6404.00 |
per lot in the aggregate amount of sales, is occasioned
in part by the extra dimensions of some lots & in part
by premiums paid for a choice.
All which is submitted
