This may certify that a letter was addressed to me on the 7^th day of August 1849 by Messrs Bryant & Blaisdell, relating to the additional cost of the fence work embraced in a contract made with B & B for fences around the Cemetery of Mt Auburn.

The letter hereto attached is a copy of said letter, so addressed to me The original was, by me, forwarded to Dr. Jacob Bigelow immediately on its receipt by me.
