(On left side of page) - Letter of Lawrence A. (sp?) Harvd Coll. Lot July 6/58 Partial (sp?) of (?)

(On right side of page) - July 30 58 Dear Sir On a further examination of the College Lot in Mt Auburn there appears to have been no mistake made in the boundaries except by those who placed the monuments on the S. West side. The path is distinct, altho, overgrown by grass, & equi distant around the whole circumference from the stakes as now set: thus having the usual space between (inserted above "it and") the Lot.

If this is correct it only remains for the Trustees to decide whether the College monuments must be set back in order that

the fence when erected shall be upon the precise bounds, or whether they will permit it to overrun the boundary a few feet in order to include the monuments as now placed. The space between the boundary & the path can be of no value to be sold, as it is too narrow for burial purposes, & the path being on the brow of the hill cannot be moved to make it wider.
