Subject: office error OFFICE OF Mt. Auburn Cemetery Corporation, No. 5 TREMONT STREET.

H.B. MACKINTOSH, Treasurer. L.G. FARMER, Secretary.

Boston, Sept. 9^th^ 1891

Dear Mr. Lovering

In balancing my cash a/c today I discovered an error in your weekly a/c of a bugt. 20^th^: the [following?] $166.98 should have been [underlined] 166.89

.09^ct^ over, which I will refund you the next time you are at the Office.

Yours truly

H B [indecipherable] [Jr.?]

[in pencil] 166.98 is correct but the payment on lot 4026 should have been 5.98 instead of 5.89.

[in pencil different writing] How should it be left?
