My dear Sir=
My mother
has been to Mt. Auburn
this morning & reports
the grass quite thin
in some places in the
lot & over the trellis
covering the head stone
marked "Nellie B.
Merriam" was left
the old dead portion
of a vine giving it
a most uncared for
so sacred to me has
been neglected & makes
me feel that I have
been deh derilict in
duty in having so
much confidence in
yr. men.
