Dear Sir: -

Residents on the upper end of Brattle and Mt. Auburn Sts.
and visitors to Mt. Auburn on Decoration day, have complained to
me of the pedlers [sic] and of the punch and judy and other small shows,
attracted by the crods [sic - crowds] on that day, which are undoubtedly a great
nuisance to those who live near and to those who desire to visit
their lots in the cemetery.

I respectfully request your assistance in suppressing
this nuisance and am satisfied that any efforts in this direction
will be duly appreciated by the lot owners here and by the citi-
zens of Cambridge.
