Please make for us a marble slab, a duplicate of one in
tomb #2105 Elm avenue, and cut on it the following inscription:

John Theodore Clark
Born November 5, 1820
Died February 5, 1889.

The form of the letters to correspond with those on the
slab now in the tomb. Send me the bill as soon as finished.
