Dear Sir:-

The headstone referred to in your note of has
been delivered, and I find that it needs a foundation. Your order
is to place the stone at the foot of the grave, but we have no
record as to which is the head or foot. I take it you wish the
stone set at the end of grave nearest the path, but as a space
appears to be left at the end furthest from the path for a stone, I
will wait for definite instructions.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.
