Dear Sir,

I enclose, a
copy of, an order dated Jan'y. 28, 1875
sent by you.

I, am very sorry that we failed
to carry out your wishes
but, as the top dressing was erased
I supposed it was not wanted.

As this order is in force until forbid,
please advise me if you desire
us to apply the top dressing each
fall. If that be your wish we
will endeavor to fulfill in a satis-
factory manner.
