Dear Sir:

About the first of November
1873 I sent you a blank order
inquiring your wishes with regard to
your lot ^#4304; which was dated
Jan 1 1874. The order which you returned
me, calls for "care" and "Topdressing" at
a cost of ^$9⁰⁰ which you paid in
advance Nov 12/73. Under the instruction
contained in the aforesaid order we shall
apply a coat of manure in the fall
of 1874. Trusting this will explain
matters satisfactorily I remain
