Dear Sir

Your letter of the 15 inst - is
received and in reply I would state that no
order was sent for your signature from the
office of the Corporation, previous to the one refer-
ed to in your letter. We have no order on
file for the care &c of your lot during the
year 1874. There are two outside parties who do
a little of the gardening work who have no
connection whatever with the Corporation. It seems
probable that not being aware of the fact you
may have signed an order sent by them.
Such being the case, if you return us the
order signed, with such alterations and additions
as you see fit to make we will endeavor to carry
out your instructions in a satisfactory manner.
