C.J. Morrile Esq.

Dear Sir

At the request of our
trustees I wrote to Mr Deblois asking
if it would not be possible to dispence
with the long lines of granite now
used to number the graves on the
Trinity Lot, and use some small
head stones, so as to get rid of the
long granite lines.

I wrote several days ago & have
been hoping for an answer, and
have waited on that accound. Perhaps
Mr. Deblois may be away & if so, would
you kindly consider the matter.

The sodding I would certainly not
advise until there has been rain to
some extent and I think in the
present dry state of Mt. Auburn that
it would be a difficult matter
to make anything look green, the
if you wish we could sow some
oats over the lot.

Please let me hear from you
or Mr. Deblois in regard to the
stonework.

Respectfully
J.W. Lovering
Supt
