The Avenues are marked
by Posts at prominent points and
strong stakes, along the lines;
those which bound Orn'l Grounds,
being painted in Colors yellow or red,
and those along the Avenues painted
white.

At the time the first
plan for stakinig out the Lot was
made (In rectangular form, as in
" Lithographed Plan of Cemetery" - 1867 - )
a number of Maple trees were planted
along the proposed Aves., and these
