Dear Sirs,

I enclose a letter
from Sam^l Elder, (one of our
old Teamsters,) who owns a small
lot on Strawberry hill, (N.W. of
Mt Auburn 1/2 mile,) offering to
sell the loam off of lot on wh[ich]
he is going to build.

We have been in the
habit of buying it from our own
men in similar cases, but I
do not think we have paid quite
so much.
