Dear Sir,

I am just in
receipt of a note from Mr. Jona
Mann, (as ag't for J.C. Bucknam,) in which
he says that he is desirous of beginning
his Tomb very soon, and would like to get
our proportion in answer to his enquiries about
gravel, loam, sods, &c.

I have heard nothing
from him in answer to our proposition for
building the Tomb, and I presume he is
waiting to get the other before giving his
answer.
