I the undersigned American Vice Consul in
Rome. (the resident minister being absent)
hereby declare that I have this day seen
in the Studio of Mr Crawford the finished
model in plaster of Paris of the Statue
of James Otis 7 feet in length. Said
model is ready in all respects to be transferred
to marble and has been made to the
orders of the Trustees of Mount Auburn
Cemetery Boston.
