the subscribers, being on course to whom it was referred to prepare a book in which should be recorded the grants and bequests made to the Pro^s of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn for the purpose of keeping in order particular lots in the Cemetery beg leave to report, that they have procured a book for that purpose which they herewith present; & they further report that the Secretary be directed to enter at the beginning of the said book, ^{an attested copy of} the votes heretofore passed & the vote of the Trustees thereon which is hereto subjected all which is respectfully submitted.

Voted. That the above report be accepted & that the recording of the instrument of grant or bequest in this book shall be ^received & amount to a contract by the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, with the person representing the particular lot, that such lot shall forever be kept in good order & repair, according to the terms & conditions of such contract -
