The undersigned, a committee to fix the fees to be
charged by the the Superintendent for interments,
reports the following copy of the instructions given
to Mr Russell, this day, to wit;

Fees payable by undertakers to the Superintendent.


1. For recording an interment . . . . . . .50
2 For digging a grave 3 ft deep or less (for a child) .50
-- 5 " [ft] " [deep] " [or] " [less] 1.25
-- 6 " [ft] " [deep] " [or] " [less] 1 50
-- 8 " [ft] " [deep] " [or] " [less] 1 75
3 For opening & closing a tomb . . . . . . .75
A reasonable addition may be made to the 2 & 3rd items,
in case of frost.

NB. - The same fees are payable on the removal
of remains within the Cemetery, except only, that no
fee shall be charged for opening & closing a tomb
whence a body is taken, unless digging be necessary.

No interment can be made in the Cemetery, or the
Receiving tomb in town, without a regular application, -
blanks for which may be had of the Superintendent,
or of O.B. Alexander, undertaker, in rear of St Paul's
Church
. -
