Jesse Putnam, one of the grantors. - Recites the advertise-
ments & postings of notices, & that on the day appointed for
the sale, , the said Estate was struck off at public
auction to Elbridge Gerry, the highest bidder there for.

Habendum to the said Thos Lee. his heirs, &e. - For $2500 payable
to Thos Lee, his Guardian, or his Exrs. or Admrs.

"That Benjn. Lee, Esq. this day quietly & peacebly entered in
our presence into a certain tenement & about 14 acres of

force of a mortgage deed of the same made to him by the
Hon. Elbridge Gerry decd & with intent to foreclose the
right of any person to redeem the same
