Cambridge Octr 21st 1861

Capt. D. L. Winsor Supt. of Mt Auburn

Dear Sir

I have examined the drain that you have been repairing in Mt Auburn, from the sesspool (near the fountain) up to the Iron fence, at the Mt Auburn St, and under the fence, where it had a short and very bad turn, and found that you have made it straight; I am much pleased with it, and I am satisfied with the drain thus far; Please receive my thanks for your attention to the said drain; I am yours Truly,

John Wyeth
