1844-04-24 Letter from Jacob Bigelow to Henry M. Parker, 1831.014.005

At a meeting of the Trustees of Mount Auburn holders at the cemetery April 24^th 1844, Present Messrs Story, Bigelow Read, Brimmer & Crockett - it was voted

That the site of the Chapel about to be built, shall be on ^^a spot surveyed by Mr Higginson ^^{for that purpose} near Cypress & Pine avenues

That the Trustees will purchase, if they can obtain them on reasonable terms, one or more of the lots numbered 88, 699-700, & 446, for an entrance way to the chapel

That the term during which the new lots may be sold for $80. be extended to the first day of August next
