1886 , Special Meeting. .

A special meeting of the Board of Trustees was held, as notified, on Friday, at 11:30 o'clock, A. M.

Present: the President and Messrs. Choate, Browne, Wolcott, Hodges, Clapp and Jones.

The records of the meeting of . and of subsequent meetings were read and approved.

Sales of Land The Secretary presented Statements of Sales of Land from to .

Representatives Lots #948 #4604 Voted. That Representatives be designated for Lots, as follows:

Monthly Bills The President reported that he had examined and approved the Schedule of Monthly Bills, of . $6457.96, and that the same had been thereupon paid by the Treasurer.

Voted. That upon approval by the President, payment thereof be made by the Treasurer.

parcel of land on East Dedham Street, in Boston, be, and the same is, hereby, confirmed as the deed of said Corporation, as fully and effectively as if the Treasurer had been previously authorized by the Trustees to execute and deliver the same; and that all the acts of the Treasurer in the premises be, and the same are hereby confirmed.

Petition of A. McDonald & Co. A petition 252 was presented from Norman McDonald & Co. for leave to set, from time to time, in Lots under perpetual care, such Monuments and Tablets as they might be called to set by the Proprietors of said Lots, permission to be first asked by the Proprietor, as in all other cases, such work to be done under such restrictions are the Board might deem proper.

Voted. That the matter be referred to the Committee on Lots, with power.

Neglected Lots Voted. That Lots 253 numbered 1083. D. E. Chase, 2316, Joseph Brooks, 2687, Nathaniel Evans, Jr., and 2822, Cynthia L. Rich, being in a state of continued neglect, and their condition impairing the appearance of athe Cemetery, the Secretary, under the direction of the President, send written notice by mail to the last known residence of the Proprietor or Representative of each of said Lots, of the fact of their condition, and that, if the same shall remain in such neglected condition for thirty days after the date of such notice the Superintendent put the same in proper order, under the direction of the President at the expense of the respective Proprietors, as provided by Article VL of the By-Laws
