[Mr. Spelman Requested To Withdraw] his resignation as Trustee
recent resignation of Mr. Reynolds, the difficulty of
securing a quorum at the meetings of the Board had been
considerably increased, the Secretary be instructed to
request Mr. Spelman to withdraw his resignation so far
as it affected his continuance in office as a member
of the Board Remarks were made in reference to his
long period of service as President and to his efforts
in behalf of the Corporation, and it was voted that a
Committee on Resolutions appointed
Committee consisting of the President and two other
members of the Board be appointed by the Chairman
to prepare a series of resolutions in which his services
to the Corporation should receive appropriate recog-
nition, and Messrs. Cheever and Whitney were appointed
by the Chairman to act with the President as such
Committee.

Mr. J. M. Sears Committee on Resolution appointed
On motion, also, Messrs. Choate and Beal were
appointed by the Chairman as a Committee to pre-
pare appropriate resolutions upon the death of
Mr. Joshua M. Sears, late a member of the Board,
which had occurred since tthe date of the last meeting.

Mr. F. W. Reynolds, Resignation accepted
The 443 resignation of Mr. Frank W. Reynolds as a mem-
ber of the Board was then presented and read by the
Chairman, and it was Voted that the same be accepted
and that the Secretary be instructed to express to Mr.
Reynolds the regret of the Board that his continued ill
health had renderd this action on his part neces-
sary, and also their appreciation of his services
