for the current year on the property of the corporation
having been laid before the Board by the President, and
duly considered, – on motion of Mr Lawrence, it was

Cambridge taxes for 1874 referred to Special Comtee

Voted, – that the assessment of taxes made by the City
of Cambridge
upon the property of the Corporation for
the year 1874 be referred to a Committee of two, consis-
ting of the President and Mr Choate to consider and
report: with authority to employ counsel.

Widening of Coolidge Av. in accordance with Plan of the Com. on Grounds recommended; & Com. author, to carry out the same.

The subject of the proposed widening of
Coolidge Avenue having been presented by the President,
and considered by the Board, it was, on motion of
Mr J. T. Bradlee

Voted, – that the Board declines to accede to the
proposition of the Committee on Highways of the
town of Watertown to widen Coolidge Avenue in ac-
cordance with plan submitted by said Committee.

Voted, – that the Board approves and adopts
the plan for widening Coolidge Avenue recommended
by the Committee on Grounds, and authorizes said
Committee to take all necessary measures to carry
out the same.

Drainage into Cem. from St W. of Recept. House referred to Special Comtee

The subject of drainage into the Cemetery
from the new street West of the Reception House
having been reported upon by the President, and explained
by reference to plan, – on motion of Mr J. T. Bradlee, it was
