ceeding two hundred and twenty-five dollars ($225.–)

Drainage into Cem'y. from St W. of Recep. House. Report of Com.

A report was received from Mr Choate in
behalf of the special Committee appointed to consider
the subject fo the drainage with the Cemetery from a
Street West of the Reception house; that, pursuant to the
authority conferred by the vote adopted ,
[see p. 302] an examination had been made at the Middle-
sex South District Registry of Deeds, but that no conveyance
of or reference to any rights of drainage as aforesaid
could be discovered, and it was believed that no record
title existed concerning said drain, which in the
opinion of the Committee was a natural and not
an artificial water-course. The committee recommen-
ded the following vote which was adopted;

Prest requested to confer with City of Cambridge & A. McDonald

Voted, – that the President be requested to confer
with the authorities of the City of Cambridge, and
with Mr Alex. McDonald upon the subject of the
said drainage, reporting the result at the next
meeting of the Board.

Gov. Winthrop, Statue of ;– request of R. S. Greenough to make changes in Eyes of. Ref. to Comtee

Mr J. T. Bradlee submitted a communication
from Mr Richard S. Greenough the artist of the statue
of Gov. Winthrop
, in the Chapel, requesting leave of the
Trustees to make certain changes upon the eyes of
the statue, the letter being accompanied with a plaster
cast showing the modifications proposed. And it was

Voted, – that the subject be referred to the President
and Mr J. T. Bradlee with full powers

Richard S. Greenough the artist of the statue of Gov. Winthrop, requested leave of the Trustees to make certain changes upon the Eyes of the statue, the letter being accompanied with a plaster cast showing the modifications proposed. Voted that the subject be referred to the President
and J.T. Bradlee with full powers.
