Trustees. .

unanimous vote, but felt compelled, in justice to
other interests, to decline to accept. Under these
circumstances, on motion of Mr N. J. Bradlee, it was

Voted, – that the Board take a recess for five minutes.

Qualified acceptance of the office of President by Mr Bradlee.

On re-assembling after the recess, Mr Bradlee
withdrew his declaration, stating that, in order to
give the Trustees time to perfect their arrangements,
he would hold the office for a few months, but should
resign at the expiration of that time.

On motion of Mr Choate, it was

Voted, – that the Board proceed to ballot for a Secretary.

Election of Secretary.

Mr. Choate having been designated a Committee
to collect and count the votes, announced the result as follows; –

Whole number of ballots cast for Secretary, 10

All of which were for Samuel Batchelder Jr., and he was
accordingly declared elected to the office aforesaid.

On motion of Mr N.J. Bradlee, it was

Voted, – that the Board prcoeed to ballot for a Treasurer.

Treasurer & Superintendent

Mr Bradlee having been designated a Committee
to collect and count the votes, announced the result as follows; –

Whole number of ballots cast for Treasurer, 10

All of which were for H.B. Mackintosh, and he was
accordingly declared elected to the office aforesaid.

On motion by Mr Snow, it was

Voted, – that the Board proceed to ballot for a Superintendent.

Mr Snow having been designated a Committee to
collect and count votes announced the result as follows; –

Whole number of ballots cast for Superintendent, 10
