Trustees.

[''Landscape-lawn'' system, – ] Debate in regard to.

– " that Lots in the section between Albatross Avenue
" and Swan Avenue be reserved for sale under the land-
" -scape-lawn system."

Mr Snow moved as an amendment to Mr Bradlee's
motion, –

– " that Lots in the section between Albatross Avenue and
" Eagle Avenue be so reserved."

The question being first taken on the amendment
offered by Mr Snow, it was decided in the negative by a
rising vote, five to four.

The question then recurring upon the original motion
of Mr Bradlee it was, in the same manner

To be adopted bet. Albatross & Swan Avenues. Rest of territory to be temporarily with-held from sale

Voted, – ^(5 to 1) that the section between Albatross Avenue and
Swan Avenue be reserved for sale upon such terms as will
carry out "the landscape lawn system," so called.

On motion of Mr Turner it was

Voted, – that the remaining portion of the Stone farm territory
be withheld from sale till further order of the Board.

On motion of Mr Snow, it was

Forms for deeds & other papers to be reported by a special Com. Proposed amend. of By-Laws; time Extended

Voted, – that a special Committee consisting of the
Committee on Lots and Mr Choate be appointed to consider
and report what forms of deeds or other papers may be
requisite for carrying into effect the above reservation.

Mr Snow renewed his request for leave to defer
the presentation of the amendment to the By-Laws intended
to be offered by him as notified at the meeting of the
[ante p. 249,] for the same reasons stated by him at the meeting
of the , [ante, p. 254.] And it was
