action at the meeting next ensuing; said amendment
being as follows, viz: – Article XII. p. 28t, 10th line from
top, insert after the word "Secretary" the words following, –
– " nor until having paid a sum, to be fixed annually by
" the Committee on Lots, for work incident thereto necessarily
" performed by the corporation": so that the whole passage
will read as follows, viz: –

Amendment of By-Laws Article XII. See Recds. of Committees, p. 6

" No other person than the proprietor himself or the
" proper officers and servants of the corporation shall be
" allowed to perform any work on a lot, or parcel of ground,
" without a permit from the Secretary, nor until having
" paid a sum, to be fixed annually by the Committee on Lots,
" for work incident thereto necessarily performed by the
corporation." [Amendment rescinded by Props . Records Vol. 5, p. 280.]

The question being upon the passage of the By-Law
as amended, it was ordered, on motion of Mr Turner, that
the vote be taken by ayes and noes. Every member
of the Board present having voted in the affirmative,
the amended By-Law was declared to be

Lots under perpetual care; statement resp'g financial condition of; ref. to Com. on Finance to cons. & report.

Mr Snow made a statement on the subject of the
financial condition of the Lots in charge of the corporation
for repairs, viz, guaranteed and unguaranteed Lots as
shown in the statement taken from the Repair Fund books
for the year ending , wherein some of
the lots were shown to be in arrear of the amount originally
deposited to their credit. After discussion, it was
