Mass^tts Hort. Soc. request of the for spec. rep^ve in the M^t Auburn Bd. of Trustees.

of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society who requested
that the Board should consider the propriety of presenting
the name of the President or Treasurer of said Society as
a candidate for the positon of Trustee of the Cemetery of
Mount Auburn at the next Annual Meeting; in order that
said Society, having a pecuniary interest in the sale of lots
in the Cemetery, might thus have a direct voice in the
managerment of its affairs.

After consideration of the subject, it being found
that neither of the parties suggested were members of this
corporation, and consequently were ineligible, under the
By=Laws for the office of Trustee, – on motion of M^r Turner

Voted, – that they foregoing communication of the President
be received and placed upon the record.

By=Laws, vote adopting reconsidered.

Voted, – that the vote passed at the last meeting whereby
the revised Code of By=Laws, as then presented and amended
was adopted be re=considered.

Amended & readopted.

Various additional amendments to said Code having
then been presented, considered and adopted, – it was

Voted, – that the Code of By=Laws, as now read and amended,
be, and the same is hereby adopted.

Vote ordering By=Laws to be printed with the Ann. Reports reconsidered.

Voted, – that the vote passed at the last meeting whereby
the revised Code of By=Laws was ordered to be printed with
the Annual Reports to the Proprietors be re=considered.
