Trustees. McDonald Lease reported cancelled.

of the lease of certain premises held by Alex. McDonald, for
reasons stated. The said Communication having, in common
with the one above noted, been referred to the Committee with
full powers, they report that said lease had been cancelled to
take effect .

Voted, – that the Report be accepted.

Receiving=Tomb Consn of Vestibule & 2 Compartments of recommended.

A Report was received from the same Committee
based upon a communication from the Superintendent dated
, covering estimates for the completion of a portion
of the Receiving Tomb; stating that the Committee had
given the subject careful consideration, and recommending
the passage of the following order

"Voted, – that the Superintendent be directed to
construct, under the direction of the Committee on Grounds the
vestibule and two compartments of the new Receiving Tomb in
accordance wtih plans submitted herewith, and that an amount
not exceeding Six thousand dollars be, and hereby is appropriated
to defray the expenses of the same."

Vote appropriating $6000.– for above purpose laid over

Voted, – that the Report be accepted and that the vote therein
recommended be laid over for action at a subsequent meeting
under Article 14 of the By=Laws.

New iron fence. Raising grade of Street & sidewalk.

A Report was received from the same Committee in
reference to the costs of an iron fence on the front line of the
lately purchased land West of the Cemetery; also in reference to
the expediency of raising the grade of the Street and sidewalk
upon and near said line. Upon motion of Mr Choate it was

Voted, – that the question of raising the fence on Mt Auburn St
be referred to the Committee on Grounds, with instructions to
