Then personally appeared Samuel Batchelder Jr., and made
oath that he would faithfully perform the duties appertaining to
the office of Secretary of the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mt Auburn.

The regular monthly meeting of the Trustees was held
on Wednesday, , at half past Three o'clock, P.M.

Present, the President, and Messrs. Bigelow, N. J. Bradlee,
Choate, Lawrence, Livermore, Snow and Turner.

Engine=house. Supt. instructed to carry out improvements in vicinity of.

A Report was received from the Committee on Grounds
in reference to certain improvements recommend by the Super-
intendent
in the vicinity of the Engine=house, stating that the
Committee had instructed the Superintendent to carry out the
plan of improvements suggested.

Voted, – that the Report be accepted.

A Report was received from the same Committee in reference
to a recommendation by the Superintendent for the cancellation
