Then personally appeared Samuel Batchelder Jr., and made
oath that he would faithfully perform the duties appertaining to
the office of Secretary of the Proprietors of the Cemetery of M^t Auburn.

The regular monthly meeting of the Trustees was held
on Wednesday, April 12^t, 1871, at half past Three o'clock, P.M.

Present, the President, and Messrs. Bigelow, N. J. Bradlee,
Choate, Lawrence, Livermore, Snow and Turner.

Engine=house. Supt. instructed to carry out improvements in vicinity of.

A Report was received from the Committee on Grounds
in reference to certain improvements recommend by the Super-
intendent in the vicinity of the Engine=house, stating that the
Committee had instructed the Superintendent to carry out the
plan of improvements suggested.

Voted, – that the Report be accepted.

A Report was received from the same Committee in reference
to a recommendation by the Superintendent for the cancellation
