"Voted, – that the Secretary be directed to send a copy of
"the foregoing Vote to the Assessors of Watertown.

"Voted, – that the Committee on Grounds be instructed to
"cause an iron fence, of the same design and finish as that
"now bounding the Cemetery of Mount Auburn Street to be placed
"on that part of the line of the Lot recently purchased of
"Bishop Williams running on said Street.

"Voted, – that the subject of the laying out and occupancy
"of said land be referred to the Committee on Grounds, to
"consider and report."

Engine House. Proposed improvements in vicinity of _ Stone Meadow. Erec. of Carp. Shop on. Referred to Com. on Grounds

A communication was received from the Superintend-
dent
in reference to certain proposed improvements in the
vicinity of the Engine house, the erection of a carpenter's
shop
on the Stone Meadow, &c., accompanied with a plan

On motion of Mr. Turner, it was

Voted, – that the above communication be referred to the Com-
mittee on Grounds with full powers.

Alex McDonald's Lease of Marble Yard. Prop. cancellation of referred to Com. on Grounds _

A communication also received and read from
the Superintendent respecting the premises under lease to Alex.
McDonald
for a marble yard, requesting that the lease of said
premises might be cancelled, for reasons stated. On motion of Mr. Perkins

Voted, – that said communication be referred to the Committee
on Grounds with full powers.

By Law Revision. New Committee appointed.

On motion of Mr Livermore it was

Voted, – that a Committee of three, to consist of the President
with two other members of the Board designated by him, be
appointed to consider and report upon the subject of a
