Motion to Annual Amendt to Art. 7 of By-Laws _ recently adopted by Trustees _

Mr A. T. Turner moved the adoption of
the following order: _

Whereas, at a meeting of
the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn,
held , the following vote or by-law
was adopted, viz.

'Third _ The Trustees shall have
authority to make any by-laws for the due regulation
and management of the property, business and
prudential concerns of the Corporation, not other-
wise provided for by the act of incorporation, which
shall be in force till otherwise ordered by the
Corporation ' _

It is hereby ordered that so much of
the Amendment to By-Laws Art. 7 which was passed
by the Trustees as is comprised in
the following words,

"Except as hereinafter provided: the
Superintendent shall be allowed to render special services in the laying
out and ornamentation of any lot, upon the request of the propri-
etor thereof, such proprietor first obtaining a permit in writing
from the Secretary; and the Superintendent shall be allowed
to charge such compensation for the services so rendered
as the Committee on Lots shall approve; and shall,
once in six months, render to the Trustees an account
in detail of the sums so received" _

be and the
same hereby is declared null and void and
not in force; and so much of said By-law
