M^r Cheever asked to be excused from serving
on the Committee to build a house on the Wyeth Estate,
but the request was not granted.

Com^ee to build house invested with full power.

Upon motion of M^r Norcross

Voted. That the Committee on the erection of a house
upon the Wyeth Estate (Mess^rs Austin Cheever
and Norcross) have full power to proceed _
with the erection of the same.

Com^ee on house authorized to provide Cellar for Plants.

D^r Bigelow stated that a proper cellar
is desirable for keeping plants in winter.

Voted. That the House Building Committee confer
with D^r Bigelow and M^r Rand as to arrang-
ing a cellar for plants under said house.

Objection to Form of Con-tract for Perpet^l Repair referred to Mr Rand.

A letter from A S Wheeler Esq^r. to M^r Bowditch,
objecting to the form^^{of contract} used by the Corporation in case of
guaranty for the perpetual repair of lots, was read.

Voted. That the said communication, together with the
question whether any change in said form is required,
be referred to M^r Rand to report thereon.
