Future improvement & grading of unsaleable lands to be authorized by Trustees _

"Whereas, By the Indenture between this Cor-
poration and the Massachusetts Horticultural Society,
dated December 18, 1858, as also by the modification of
said Indenture dated Jany. 1, 1869, it is mutually
agreed that this Corporation may improve, grade
and render saleable any portion of the grounds
which are now or may become unfit for burial
purposes, charging annually to the Horticultural
Society their proportion of the cost of the same,

Whereas It is for the interest and future good
understanding of the parties that sell such improve-
ments and grading should be authorized by this
Board, it is
