At the regular quarterly meeting of the Massa-
chusetts Horticultural Society holden January 2^d
A.D. 1869, Charles O. Whitmore from the Finance
Committee presented a copy of a supplementary
indenture with the Proprietors of the Cemetery
of Mount Auburn, dated January 1^st
A.D. 1869, changing the provisions of Article
fifth of said original Indenture, but other-
wise ratifying and confirming the same

Whereupon it was

Voted that the sub-
ject be referred to the President of this Society
with instructions to report upon the expediency
of the Society's executing said Indenture as
an adjournment of this meeting one week from
today.

At the adjournment of the quarterly meeting,
holden January 9, 1869, the President having re-
ported that it is for the best interests of this Society
to execute the said Indenture with some
slight alterations and additions, and the
same having presented as amended in a
