Memorial of John Coolidge asking compensation for Land Damage.
A memorial from John Coolidge of
Watertown, dated , by his attorney,
Geo. Z. Adams, representing that his land contigu-
ous to the Cemetery had suffered damage by
the act of the Trustees, in draining water from
the Cemetery into said land _ was read. _
Thereupon it was
Voted that the com-
plaint he referred to the committee on Grounds.
Amendment of By_laws _
On motion by Mr Norcross, it was
Voted to amend Art. 20 of the by laws, in
line 3d by substituting fo rthe words _ "twelve dollars
each, together with" _ the words _ "twenty five dollars
each besides." _
Also Art. 23, line 2, by substituting the words "twenty-
five" for the word "twenty" _ and in line 5, by substi-
tuting "seventeen" for "fourteen." _
