The regular meeting of the Trustees was
held on Tuesday, October 8. 1867, at
10 o'clock a.m. ~

There were present the President and
Messrs Adams, Cheever, Livermore and
Rand. ~

The record was read. _

Suit vs Granite Railway Co.

Mr Rand, for the Committee on the suit of
the Granite Railway Co.y vs this Corporation,
submitted a communication from O. E. Sheldon,
for said Company, dated Sept. 26. 1867.

Communication from O. E. Sheldon _ Referred to Com^ee with full power _

Upon motion by Mr Rand,

Voted that the communication of the Granite
Railway Company be referred to the Committee
having charge of the suit of said Company
against this Corporation, with authority to
defend said suit, or to compromise and
settle the same upon such terms as they
shall deem for the interest of the Corporation.
