Petition of Hannah D. Hammond for leave to remove bodies from Lot no. 1000

A petition was presented signed by Hannah D.
wife of Nath^l K. Hammond, proprietor of lot num-
bered 1000, representing that her husband left
this part of the country many years since and
had not been heard from for thirteen yers, and
asking leave for her to order the removal of certain
bodies interred in said lot. _

allowed as to body interred by her own order.

Voted that the petitioner be allowed to order the
removal of the body placed in said lot by her own
order, but that this board have no authority
to allow the removal of the body placed there
by order of her said husband many years ago.
