The regular meeting of the Trustees of the Cemetery
of Mount Auburn was held on _
There were present Messrs Austin, Bigelow,
Cheever, Crocker, Curtis, Nazro, Rand
and Sleeper. _
The record of the last meeting was read. _
Mr Curtis for the Committee on Lots reported
that the Committee had, with the approval of
Wm W. Story, representative of his late father, Judge Story's
estate, authorized the erection of a granite curb upon
his lot in the Cemetery, no. 313, with such other improve-
ments as are rendered necessary, to be paid for out
of surplus income from the fund for the perpetual
repair of said lot: and he asked leave to file
the correspondance on the subject, embracing a letter from
the Superintendent to the Committee, one from the Committee
to Mr Story, and his reply thereto. _
Voted that the report he accepted and said
letters be filed. _
The President read a letter from the Superin-
tendent recommending the opening of an avenue from
Walnut Avenue to Spruce Avenue, doubling on both sides
of the new fountain, over the courses of Thistle and
Cowslip paths.
