Trustees _ .

The regular meeting of the Trustees of the Cemetery
of Mount Auburn was held on _

There were present Messrs Andrews, Austin,
Bigelow, Cheever, Crocker, Curtis and Nazro.

The Record of the last meeting was read. _

Purchase of the Watriss lot _ Report of the Comee that it is "inexpedient to purchase" accepted _

The President stated the question before the meeting
to be the purchase of the lot of land west of the Cemetery
called the Watriss Lot, and the disposition of the report
of the Committee on Grounds.

After the situation of this land and the adjacent par-
cels of real estate had been pointed out upon the plan,
and the expediency of acquiring this lot had been
discussed,

Mr Curtis moved that the report of the
Committee on Grounds _ that it is "inexpedient to pur-
chase" the same _ be accepted, _ upon which motion
the yeas and nays were ordered: _ and
the report was declared to be accepted,
Messrs Andrews, Austin, Bigelow, Cheever and Curtis
voting yea, and Messrs Crocker & Nazro, Nay.

Attention called to Rule concerning Admission of Visitors _

Mr Nazro stated that complaint had been made to him
that the regulaton requiring visitors to the Cemetery in carriages to present
cards of admission at the Gate had not been uniformly observed, and he
called the attention of the Trustees to the rule, suggesting that it ought
to be enforced; but without taking any action of the Board Adjourned:_
