Trustees _ _ Adjd Meeting _

An adjourned meeting of the Trustees was held
on ~

There were present Messrs Andrews, Austin, Bigelow,
Cheever, Crocker, Curtis, Little, Nazro & Read = 9

The record of the last meeting was read. _

Auditor's Report in Mann suit read _

The Trustees proceeded, according to assignment, to hear
the reading of the Auditor's report in the case of the
Corporation vs. Jona Mann.

After which, it was moved by Mr Cheever,

That the Committee on the prosecution of the suit vs J.
Mann
be instructed to discontinue its prosecution and
that the question be taken by yeas and nays. _

Notion to discontinue suit vs him rejected _

The question was then ordered to be taken by yeas
and nays: _

And upon a call

Messrs Bigelow, Austin and Cheever voted yea,
and Messrs Andrews, Crocker, Curtis, Little Nazro,
and Read voted nay _ and the motion was declared
to be not adopted. _

Expediency of purchasing the Watriss Land refd to Comee on Grounds _

Upon motion by Mr Crocker,

Voted that the Expediency of purchasing a strip
of land adjoining the westerly line of the Cemetery (known as
the Watriss lot) containing between six and seven acres, and which
is now held as collateral security by the Charles River Bank for
the sum of Eight thousand five hundred & ninety six & 92/100 dollars (principal & interest)
($8,596.92) be referred to the Committee on Grounds to report thereon.
