Trustees _ .

The regular monthly meeting of the Trustees
was held on

There were present Messrs Andrews, Austin,
Bigelow, Cheever, Crocker, Curtis, Little, Nazro,
Rand & Read.

The record of the last meeting was read.

Reservation of certain spaces for Public Grounds adopted _

The subject specially assigned _ viz. the con-
sideration of the printed recommendations of the
Committee on Grounds, for the reservation of cer-
tain spaces forever from sale, and their devotion
to use only as public grounds _ first came up, and
it was moved by Mr Andrews,

That the report be accepted, and that the
vote recommended by the Committee be passed.
viz.

Viz:

That the following described spaces within the
Cemetery of Mount Auburn be forever kept open,
and that no interments be ever made, nor building
nor monuments of any description be erected thereon.

South of the Gate

1st The space near the front gate or entrance,
bounded as follows: beginning at a point in the
front fence, thirty feet west of the western
stone obelisk, thence running, at right angles
with said fence, in a southerly direction, to the
southerly side of Pine Avenue, being about fifty-
five feet; thence easterly in a line parallel to
