of the Mass. Hort. Society, on the subject of
conveying the lot containing the remains of
the late Thomas Green Fessenden to his heirs
at law, and protecting it from further interments
except of the remains of Mrs Lydia Fessenden,
who has expressed a desire that her body shall
be interred in said lot.

Conditional grant of right of burial to Mrs L. Fessenden.

On motion by Mr Curtis,

Voted that this Corporation will convey the
lot on which the Fessenden monument stands,
(no. 680) to the Massachusettts Horticultural Society,
on the condition that said Society shall forever
keep the same in good repair, and that
no interment shall be made therein, except that
of the body of Mrs Lydia Fessenden. _

Partial rept of Comee on resignation of Mr Spooner _ and further instructions to Comee _

Mr Rand for the Committee to which was
referred the resignation of Mr Spooner, as Gardener,
reported that Mr Spooner is still desirous that
his resignation should be accepted; they also
reported the state of accounts between him and
the Corporation, and the terms on which he
offers a settlement, and they desired further
instructions.

On motion of Mr Crocker,

Voted that this Committee be authorized
to make such settlement with Mr Spooner as
they may deem right, and also to make any
further arrangement regarding the green-house
that in their judgment is proper, either to sell
