The record of the last meeting was read.

$1500 appropriated to fill and grade the Lawn _

Upon motion of Mr Curtis,

Voted to take from the table the motion submitted
at the last meeting to appropriate ($1500) fifteen hundred
dollars for the completion of Lawn Avenue and filling and
grading the adjoining land, and the same was
put and adopted. _

Horse & Carriage for Supt. _

Upon motion by Mr Crocker,

Voted that Messrs Nazro and Little be a
Committee to provide a suitable horse and vehicle
for the Superintendent's use at Mt Auburn. _

It was moved by Mr Nazro,

That Mr Mann's services at Mount Auburn
be discontinued after this day. _ and that the
question be taken by yeas and nays.

Mr Little moved to amend by substituting the
words "this week" for "this day", was was lost.

The principal motion was then put, and lost.

Messrs Crocker and Nazro voting yea, and Messrs Andrews,
Bigelow, Curtis, Little and Read voting nay.

Mr Mann's services to be discontinued within one week.

Mr Read then moved that the time for the perform-
ance by Mr Mann of the services specified in a vote
passed at the last meeting be limited to one week
from date.

Upon this, the yeas and nays were ordered,
and the motion was adopted by a unanimous vote.
