be properly kept, and there being no room
now of sufficient capacity, and as there is
no room for the accommodation of ladies
and children , in the grounds,

Resolution to finish off additional rooms at the Gate and Water Closet _ rejected by yea & nay vote _

That a room be finished between
the principal gate and the office now used
by the Gate Keeper, which, in connection with
the present office, shall be used as the office
of the Treasurer, and that a similar room
be made on the right of the Gate for the accom-
modation of visitors _ and that water-closets
be placed in the small apartment for
the accommodation of ladies and children,"

Mr Nazro moved the adoption of this resolution
by a yea and nay vote, _

and Messrs Andrews, Bigelow, Curtis,
Rand and Read voted nay, and
Messrs Nazro and Tobey voted yea _
so the resolution was rejected.

Printed resolves on conduct of affairs at Cemetery - taken up, & verbal amendts offered _ .

Mr Rand then moved to take up the resolu-
tions printed as ordered at the last meeting,
and that the Second Resolution be amended
by striking out in the first line the words _ "He
shall attend at his office at all times except
on Sunday," and insert instead - "He shall
attend at his office there at such times as the
Committee on Finance shall order." _
and by striking out at the end of the res-
olution the words "It shall be distinctly under-
