Upon motion by Mr Curtis.

Voted that the Committee on Lots be author-
ized to repair the damage done to the lot of Mrs
Buttrick
, at the expense of the Corporation, if they
see fit.

also to commence suit vs. E. L. Lunt for the injury _

And it was further voted _ upon motion by Mr Curtis,

That the Committee on Lots be authorized to
cause a suit to be commenced at the expense of the
Corporation, against the said E. L. Lunt, if they
shall be satisfied that the foregoing charge can
be sustained, or against any other person or persons
who may have committed depredations upon lots
or the grounds.

Conduct of Affairs at Cemetery _ Report taken up _

The unfinishd business _ the printed report
upon the mode of conducting the affairs of the Ceme-
tery _ then came up.

Upon that portion which recommends proprietors
wishing work done on their lots to employ the super-
intendent only _

Resolution offered _

Mr Rand moved a resolution
to the effect that no person other than the Superinten-
dent and those in his employ should perform any
work on a lot without a permit obtained by the pro-
prietor wishing work done on his lot, upon certain
terms and conditions specified.

Which was lost not having five votes.
