The regular monthly meeting of the Trustees of
Mount Auburn Cemetery was held on _

There were present the President, and
Messrs Austin, Cheever, Crocker, Curtis, Nazro,
Rand, Read and Tobey.

Mr Nazro, Chairman of the Special Committee
charged with the duty of making any recommenda-
tions as to the mode of conducting the affairs of the
Corporation at the Cemetery, in future, stated that
the Committee were not quite ready to report, but
expected to be able to do so after another meeting.

Adjd Meeting

Upon motion by Mr Nazro,

Voted that when this meeting adjourn, it be
to

Resignation of W. H. Spooner, Jr. as Gardener _ referred to Special Comee

A communication from Wm H. Spooner, Jr
complaining of the dishonorable competition into which
the Gardener is brought with various other persons at
the Cemetery who solicit from proprietors the care of their
lots, and tendering his resignation, as Gardener,
was read, and upon motion by Mr Curtis,

Voted that this communication be referred to
the special committee on the reorganization of
duties at the Cemetery.

The meeting was then adjourned to
Wednesday next, at 4 P.M.
