Upon motion by Mr Curtis, the following
vote was passed.

Visit of Comee of Hort. Socy to Mt Auburn

Whereas the Garden Committee of the Massa-
chusetts Horticultural Society
have proposed to
visit Mount Auburn on or about the

Voted that the Committee upon Grounds
be requested to meet them, and show them such
attentions as the occasion shall suggest.

Chapel, floor of

+ Upon motion also by Mr Curtis.

Voted that
the President and
Messrs { Andrews and
{ Austin

be a committee to expend one thousand
dollars, if necessary, in causing the floor of the
Chapel to be laid with encaustic tiles, and
that the work shall be done in such manner
as they shall deem expedient.

Additional Appropriation for Reservoirs & Fountains _

+ The Committee upon Reservoirs and Fountains
reported progress.

Upon motion by Mr Rand.

Voted that one thousand dollars be appropri-
ated in addtion to the appropriation of seven thou-
sand dollars of for the construc-
tion of one or more fountain jets at Mount
Auburn.
